This pieced Celtic Knot is made from 3 simple blocks - the design variation is enormous and a fabulous pattern for the men in your life.
3) Glowing Cubes with Jill Burton – cost $30

This stunning quilt is all straight line sewing! The 3D effect is created with colour usage. By choosing lighter “I Spy” type fabrics, the cubes that emerge appear to glow.
4) Muro – with Jennifer Wellington – cost $30

“Muro” means Circles. Oriental fabrics have been used for the layered circles that are machine appliquéd and decorated with pretty sewing machine stitches. What a great way to use those fabrics you’ve been collecting for the “right” project.
5) Winding Ways-with Jill Burton – cost $30

This block is an old favourite. It can be a 2 fabric quilt or multi coloured quilt. Learn how easy it is to machine sew these gentle curves for a stunning result.
6) Window Panes –with Jill Burton – cost $30

What to do with those beautiful fabrics you can’ bear to cut up – like Kaffe Fassett or Oriental fabrics? This large, simple block readily forms a quilt.

This is an exclusive design. Learn how to make little kimonos with folded skirts to put together with simple oriental blocks in your Oriental Garden quilt.
9) Playing With Prisms- with Jill Burton $30

Have fun making this bright, happy one block design and get the most from a stripy fabric. Learn how to use the Westalee Half Square Triangle ruler and the Quarter Square ruler – these are recommended but not essential BUT once used you will wonder why you hadn’t found this technique years ago…….

There are some wonderful Layer Cakes and Charm Packs available. This quilt was designed to use these pre-cuts along with a background. Exclusive to Patchwork Place!

Milky Way is a 2 block design with the Tri Recs star. This is the “other” pointy star that appears in many patterns. Learn how to make this into a beautiful simple quilt.

Use the Westalee Tumbles Stash Buster Ruler to cut the shapes. This pattern was designed for use with a “swag”- a roll of fabric 5 ½ “ ( not essential.)

13) Quilt As You Go with Jennifer Wellington – cost $30

This is a quilt-as-you-go project which is ideal if you don’t have the room to quilt a big project once you have finished it. Jen will show you how to quilt block by block, then join the blocks into a stunning quilt.
14) Table Runner – with Jill Burton – cost $30

Choice of 2 runners to make – the simpler one can be completed on the day.
The Tulip Runner is a little more involve but very pretty and quite different.
15) Machine Quilting - with Jill Burton –cost $30

Learn how to machine quilt your own projects. You will be shown how to use stencils, free motion sewing, decorative stitching and more. Sewing machine
able to drop feed dogs and darning foot are a must. Stencils are available from Patchwork Place.
16) Triple Irish Chain –with Jennifer Wellington – cost $30
Friday 18th May 9 am to 4 pm
This is a beautiful traditional quilt design that lends itself to those gorgeous floral fabrics and is always stunning. As usual, it’s nowhere near as difficult as it looks!
